how can i use skulls in mcc for odst? There is no skullls there, this freaking achievement is such a headache even for easy difficulty, that marines are like paper fragile.

You can use the acrophobia skull to get to the Elite. IT works fine

this level is so much harder without the mythic skull glitch you have in this video lol

In MCC it not working. Buggy, doesnt get it on every difficulty. Same with the achievement, you have to look up at the company Logo.

Thanks for the guide (and all of your guides). I had a ton of trouble replicating this on MCC PC. To those coming to this video and getting stuck like I was, I found that I was completely unable to consistently get revivers. It seemed to work better the earlier I tried from starting MCC, but still very inconsistent. The main thing I learned from researching this trick is that when you are standing on your reviver, you need to stand above the infection form - not just the center of the body, it's something about the infection form hitbox that works. I kept getting the flood launched through the wall, or just getting myself nudged to one side or the other - once I learned that, my next reviver was an instant success.

F this, after 4 missions I'm 21 minutes behind and I don't see how I could beat the part time on rest of the maps. Going to spare my keyboard and give up. Honestly these videos are always the luckies things where nothing goes wrong. My experience on PC does not match what I see in these videos. For example in the final room of this map there were four grunts so it was rather difficult to even get to the Elite. Took closer to 20 tries, good times when trying to do a speed run.

fun fact: the two betrayles are cortana stopping you from activating halo at the start and guilty spark turning on you when you refuse to activate the ring

I just got this achievement (got 152.945 points) thanks to this guide! This is how I did it: Difficulty: Heroic Time: 27:02 minutes 4 Skulls: famine, thunder, tough luck and iron (I died one time on the highway and had to restart but if you're careful enough you can get through this level without dying). Good luck to anyone trying to get this achievement!

4 years later ant this is very helpful... Im using all ur laso guides(and some speedrun tricks that i know) to get 100%, thank u so much for this guides, it took me one whole day and 1hour and 10min in game to pass this level, love u so much!!!!

This is the worst mission in all of halo. I would rather replay coastal highway

For anyone who is still trying to get this achievement, it is possible but it requires a lot of luck and timing to get it right so here is what i did to complete it. 1. Make sure you got everything set pre game: same map (Chasms), easy setting, Tug of War game mode, you as the Prophet of Regret and your ai enemy as Captain Cutter. 2. Do a few things at base as quickly as possible, first quickly build the covenant factory and quickly send your starting ghost to the back middle of Captain Cutter's base, and send the flag spawn quickly to the back area previously mentioned. 3. Constantly check the process of the factory, if it is finished, spam as many ghosts as you can, once the enemy a.i decides to build in the back middle build pad. 4. Place the cursor on the middle back build pad so that the moment it turns red and begins to open, have the starting ghost shoot it immediately, now if the mentioned build pad is building anything other then a supply pad or is being built as the starting ghost finally gets there, restart and try again until it is a supply pad being built after your ghost arrives. 5. Assuming steps 1-4 is going well, constantly select individual ghosts the moment they are spawning in to target the supply pad so that they can quickly get there for the first few ghosts, now even if the supply pad is complete, make sure the supply pad health bar is near the lower end of red by the starting ghost and the 2nd ghost helps finish the last bit of the supply pad. 6. From here get the remaining ghosts you have to the enemy base to help destroy the base itself and any buildings or turrets, constantly check around the base to not leave anything to build and finish off the base with all the ghosts you have then finish the warthog to win and get the achievement. Now this requires a lot of practice and i give you this strategy because i tried multiple attempts to figure out how to get the achievement and i wanted to comment this to you so that you could achieve it just like i did, you are welcome.

I literally thought they ment taking no health damage meaning you can't be shot at all damn that would have been almost impossible

Not sure if anyone has realized this yet but I just figured out something that blew my mind. The reason these achievements are 3 hours is because 3 hours is the time it takes to run a marathon 26.2 miles at a 7 minute mile pace. The 3 hours is a double Bungie reference! Crazy!

To people who have done both monopolized using save/quit method and Like a fine wine.....which one was harder? Be honest. (like a fine wine is a million times harder IMO)

No matter how many times I restart, all 4 of the spec ops grunts have needlers…

So getting the second check point took me like over an hour alone really seemed like a lot of RNG mainly just have to hug the left wall and run as fast as possible to get to that first save spot but if u are able to and the rng is good so u have shotgun ammo on the ground near you, you should have the extra ammo needed for the infinite ammo glitch through the rest of the level pretty much. It’s just getting past that first checkpoint and hoping you have enough shoutgun ammo you can reload for the glitch. Also I don’t know how but I also had 2 extra grenades at that spot also even though I followed silver pretty much exactly so idk where I got the extra nades but hope this helps

HUGE TIP: If you ever restart the level instead of pressing "Save & Quit" you can close the MCC in task manager and you will get your last checkpoint back. This saved me big time as I accidentally restartet the level at the prison skip -_-

Honestly, as much as I love your videos, with the mythic skull now in full effect the guides can only do so much. Getting splatters on the brutes is difficult, they eat up any ammo unless noob combo’d and it just feels like you get constantly tanked in 90% of situations.

For those that want to cheese it and use a method similar to the save/quit->resume method from halo1 and halo2, try this. Works as of 24 June 2024: On xbox only, if you mess up, just dashboard quit then resume from main menu: 1) hit xbox button (middle button on controller) 2) scroll down and highlight halo: master chief collection 3) hit start button (right of the button pressed in step 1) 4) scroll down to quit, hit A 5) hit A again, as halo should still be highlighted. If not, just start halo againfrom main screen 6) keep mashing A to skip intro etc, then go to campaigns -> halo 4 -> resume This whole process once you have it down takes about 15 seconds tops. Now you can get this achievement, but it still wont help you land some of the tricks that come up in later missions 😅, good luck.

If you are on xbox, you can always dashboard quit then restart the game and resume from main menu. Takes less than 15 seconds on the series x. Basically the save/quit method you'd use for halo 1/2 par times or LASO.

The last highway section after they changed the mythic skull is ruthless. I had to pull up this guide because it’s taking 2 shots for grunts and upwards of 4 for the brutes. It’s honestly so infuriating 😂

To anyone struggling with getting everything to spawn in correctly in the lift room: just make sure as soon and you get in the hallway you rub yourself on the door and wall Like he shows and then double back to the hiding spot he shows and wait about a minute. The music should kick in but don’t get anxious or move even if the door is open, and make sure you stay there for at least another minute or two. Once I started doing this I was reliably having like 12 grunts spawn in the hallway like he was expecting in the video and then once I dealt with them I cleared the entire lift room with a single shot and only had 2 1 shot elite sword guys to deal with. I ended with 18 shots in my gun and 4 frags still . Hope this helps

So if I don't get the club main mission first to go get a jetpack... i just can't play your style through the hospital? Seems scuffed as hell not going to lie. How do we get a jetpack if we don't go to the club first? Not covered? Huge hindrance.
